Google Toolbar 5 beta for IE only

前几天，Google发布了其Google Toolbar 5 beta版，这个测试版目前只有IE可以用。

看看有什么特点：

1）404 errors with default error pages
当用户访问网站，得到的是默认的404错误页面时，工具条会不显示默认错误页面，而提供一个建议网址给用户。如果是定制的404错误页面，那么工具条会直接显示定制错误页面。
2）DNS errors
如果用户输入的是一个不存在的网址，那么工具条会返回一个建议网址。当然目前看来Google不会把那些专门吸引Typo（拼写错误）的网址替换掉。
3）Connection failures
当你的网站整个不能访问时，Google工具条会试着提供一个建议给用户，用缓存页面来显示。

比如这个例子，当用户访问如图中的一个网址时，因为这个网址不存在，当然之前是存在过的，后来是我修改了这个网址。而Google很好的把新旧两个网址联系了起来。
所以当访问者得到的是404错误时，Google工具条显示的页面给出了四条建议：
* 访问缓存页面；
* 访问相当的新页面；
* 访问网站的首页；
* 使用Google的搜索，寻找正确的页面。

所以当Google工具条发现上面三种错误时，会做如下尝试：
A link to the corrected URL
A link to the cached version of the URL
A link to the homepage or HTML site map of your site
A link to a higher level folder
A search within your site for keywords found in the URL
An open Google search box
这种改进可以很好的改善用户体验，希望早日看到Firefox的新版Google工具条。
